This policy explains what personal information we collect when you shop with us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

Halstead Supply is operated by Dmitro Galko, an individual seller established in Bulgaria.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping address, phone number where the carrier requires one, and the details of what you ordered. If you write to us, we keep that correspondence so we can help you.

Our shop platform also records standard technical data: your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed, and how you arrived at the store.

We never see your card details. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments. Your card number goes to them directly and is never stored by us.

Why we collect it

To fulfil and deliver your order.
To answer your questions and handle returns.
To meet our accounting and tax obligations.
To detect and prevent fraudulent orders.

We do not use your information for anything else.

Who we share it with

Our fulfilment partner. They receive what they need to pack and dispatch your order: your name, shipping address, order details, and contact details where the carrier requires them. Our fulfilment partner is located outside the United States and outside the European Union.
Our payment processor, to take the payment and issue refunds.
Our shop platform, which hosts the store.
Tax authorities and our accountant, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for cross context behavioural advertising.

Where your data goes

We are established in Bulgaria, you are in the United States, and our fulfilment partner is in another country. Your order information is transferred between them in order to fulfil your purchase. That transfer is limited to what is needed to pack and deliver your order.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires us to keep them. If you gave consent to marketing emails, we keep that consent until you withdraw it.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

send you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
correct anything that is wrong;
delete your information, where we are not legally required to keep it;
confirm whether we sell or share your personal information. We do not.

Write to halstead.supply@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will never treat you differently, or charge you a different price, for asking.

If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or another state with its own privacy law, you have these rights under that law, and you may appeal a refusal by replying to our answer. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have equivalent rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your national data protection authority.

Marketing emails

If you subscribe to our emails, every message we send has an unsubscribe link. Clicking it stops marketing email immediately. We will still send you messages about orders you have placed, because those are part of the purchase.

Cookies

Our shop uses cookies that are necessary for the cart and checkout to work, and analytics cookies that tell us which pages people visit. You can refuse the analytics cookies without losing any shop functionality. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before setting anything beyond the necessary cookies.

Children

Our store is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, write to us and we will delete it.
